Redfishing and Redfish tournaments are growing at an astonishing rate not only in the coastal
communities but also at a national recognized level. Thanks to the efforts of outdoor writers,
fishing guides, and weekly outdoor telecasts more and more people are being introduced to the
sport daily. Currently, there are three different organizations for the tournament angler to
choose from; The Redfish Tour, The Academy HT Series , and the brand new Gulf Coast
Anglers Association. All are highly competitive and promote “catch and release” as well as
good sportsmanship, boater safety, and an ethical approach to coastal conservation efforts.
Each organization incorporates the two person “team” concept allowing our Father and Son
team to pair up and compete against the best fishermen in the world. The venues cover Texas,
